Literacy

We have a quiet story tent and a technology corner where children can sit on bean bags and enjoy the interactive books.  Stories are a great way to enhance confidence and communication skills.  Children love to be involved in the stories and we bring them alive with re-enactment, role play and song time.

We use arts and crafts and have a mark making table to develop writing and fine motor skills.  Group activities are used for developing friendship skills, building confidence, sharing, and helping one another.
